Do you want to build a successful career in international setting? We are currently investing in talent and expanding our team in Sweden. Are you our new talented Financial Lines Underwriter?

In the Stockholm office you be welcomed by a team of 7 Financial Lines underwriters and 3 students, and you will work closely together with our entire Nordic Financial Lines team across our Nordic cluster. This position is based in our new office in the Stockholm city center.

The Role

As an AIG Jr Underwriter you will perform traditional Financial Lines underwriting predominantly in the commercial business segments. Primarily focus will be underwriting, development and updating of our Financial Lines products within Director’s and Officer’s Liability, Commercial Crime, Employment Liability and Professional Indemnity. Among other things you will also participate in marketing initiatives, external events, client presentations, trainings, workshops and internal projects.

Being part of our Financial Lines team, you are expected to:

  • be a fast learner as well as a good team player
  • learn, develop and take responsibility of your own client portfolio
  • develop relationships with both existing and new clients and their insurance brokers
  • participate in internal underwriting projects, trainings and marketing initiatives
  • collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to service our clients in the best possible way
  • participate in internal and external education / training sessions to ensure your continuous professional development

  • have a master’s degree in economics or law (or a combination of the two)
  • have strong verbal and written Swedish and English skills. It is also a plus if you have skills in Finnish.
  • have great communicative skills
  • are structured, service oriented and that you pay attention to detail
